Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary and inspiring CEO to lead our organization and drive growth, innovation, and excellence in all aspects of our work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the charity, overseeing its operations, growth, and long-term sustainability.
  • Lead a team of over 100 staff and 50 volunteers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to excel in their roles.
  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to secure the necessary resources to support our programs and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and the broader community.
  • Ensure the charity remains at the forefront of special education for 18-25-year-olds, driving innovation and excellence in all aspects of our work.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successful strategic leadership in the nonprofit or education sector.
  • Experience and/or involvement in successful capital campaigns and major fundraising initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including those of Ofsted and/or CQC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence staff, young people with diverse needs, partners, donors, and the broader community.
