Classic Car Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Classic Car Technician to join our team at Perfect Placement. As a Classic Car Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing classic cars, restoring them to their original condition, and ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify mechanical, electrical, and structural issues in classic cars.
  • Perform mechanical repairs, including engine overhauls, transmission repairs, brake system maintenance, and suspension adjustments.
  • Restore classic cars to their original specifications or customise them to meet client preferences, adhering to historical accuracy and authenticity where required.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, including wiring harnesses, lighting systems, gauges, and accessories.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, including parts used, labour hours, and any modifications made.
  • Conduct thorough quality inspections at various stages of the restoration process to ensure that work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
