Senior Customer Tax Manager

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Tax team at Aviva, where you will play a key role in providing expert tax services to our UK companies and Aviva Investors. As a Senior Customer Tax Manager, you will work closely with colleagues across five locations to deliver high-quality tax advice and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support on chargeable events reporting and HMRC controversy.
  • Ensure accurate and appropriate customer and product tax documentation across the business.
  • Develop and maintain a good technical knowledge of life products, including bonds, pensions, and endowment type policies.

Requirements:

  • Good technical knowledge of life products, including bonds, pensions, and endowment type policies.
  • Strong customer and product tax knowledge and experience, with an ability to readily evaluate and effectively communicate the impact of new developments.
  • Strong capabilities in MS Office applications, with good experience of creating and editing documents.

What We Offer:

  • Salary: Circa £75,000 (location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
  • Bonus: Opportunity of 12% of annual salary (actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's)
