Quality Assurance Manager Opportunity

Zest is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Technical department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality within our food manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor quality KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead the front-line delivery on food safety and quality assurance processes.
  • Implement and maintain BRC and HACCP standards to guarantee compliance.
  • Manage and mentor the QA team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Conduct audits covering GMPs, traceability, and workplace safety.
  • Act as the primary liaison for customer visits and audits, ensuring seamless communication and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across operations, engineering, production, hygiene, and NPD to achieve quality objectives.

Requirements:

  • Experience in food manufacturing with a strong background in QA team management.
  • Proven knowledge in BRC and HACCP standards implementation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Intermediate or Advanced HACCP and a Food or Science-related degree level is desirable.
