About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teach Now. As a Teaching Assistant for children with Special Education Needs (SEN), you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students with autism, ADHD, and Down syndrome.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional needs.
  • Assist teachers in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting student engagement and participation.
  • Collaborate with SEN specialists and parents to develop and implement tailored learning plans that cater to each student's unique requirements.
  • Support students in developing essential life skills, such as communication, social interaction, and independence.
  • Liaise with colleagues and external agencies to ensure seamless support for students with complex needs.

Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with autism, ADHD, or Down syndrome.

  • A calm and patient demeanor, with the ability to remain composed in challenging situations.
