Burnside Resource Management is seeking a seasoned senior or principal instrument designer to join our team in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation engineering and experience working on petrochemical or oil & gas projects. Key responsibilities include conceptual, FEED, and detailed design using Autocad, as well as mentoring and training junior design personnel. The successful candidate will also be responsible for site surveys, producing 'Destruct' and 'Construct' drawings, and creating Single Line and Schematic Diagrams, Interconnection Diagrams, Termination Diagrams, Cable Block Diagrams, Lighting & Small Power Layouts, Distribution Board Schedules, Hazardous Area Layouts, Cable Schedules, and Material Take Off. A HNC/HND in instrumentation engineering and significant UK North Sea Oil and Gas experience are required. The position will be based in Glasgow, and applicants must be residents with zero visa restriction. We are looking for a candidate who is proficient in Autocad and ideally AutoCAD P3D, and who can work effectively in a multi-discipline design environment.
