Role Overview:

In the capacity of a Logistics and Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you will be instrumental in facilitating the efficient execution of our distribution activities. Your core duties will encompass orchestrating daily shipments, overseeing warehouse functions, arranging both domestic and international transport, and ensuring adherence to all export regulations. Additionally, you will be tasked with generating export invoices, packing lists, and essential documentation, monitoring shipments, and occasionally handling imports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate export invoices, packing lists, and requisite documentation (Certificates of Origin, EUR1).
  • Guarantee compliance with all export regulations.
  • Coordinate daily shipments and delegate tasks within the warehouse.
  • Ensure timely completion of all orders.
  • Arrange transport for both domestic and international logistics.
  • Gather transport quotes and options to fulfill client needs.
  • Monitor shipments and maintain precise records of exports/imports.
  • Occasionally manage the importation of goods.

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive understanding of import and export procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in a logistics or warehouse setting.
  • Capability to adjust to frequently shifting priorities.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and flexible, with a constructive attitude towards change.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft business applications (Excel, Word).
  • Permanent right to work in the UK is essential.

Salary:

Starting from £36,000.
