Role Summary:

As a pivotal member of our Support Services team, you will oversee a vast inventory of plant and equipment essential for our project delivery across various locations. Your role as an Equipment Rental Coordinator will be crucial in ensuring seamless operations. Key responsibilities include:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of equipment hires and off-hires, including cross hires and associated invoicing.
  • Coordinate the booking of assets and materials.
  • Manage statutory compliance tasks such as PAT testing and calibration.
  • Facilitate the sale of consumables.
  • Coordinate requests for equipment movement and allocation.
  • Address site damage and loss, including end-of-hire charges.
  • Respond to breakdowns and failures by liaising with suppliers, coordinating repairs, and managing costs and refunds effectively.
  • Optimize the utilization of internally owned equipment.
  • Provide timely responses to information requests and keep stakeholders updated on progress.
  • Prepare daily summary reports, including necessary certificates and documentation.
  • Generate weekly performance summaries.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar capacity within the equipment rental sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service-oriented role.
  • Proficient in Excel and other relevant software.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Capable of working efficiently under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with handling various types of equipment and machinery is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Coins software is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A proactive and solution-focused mindset when addressing equipment issues.

Work Environment:

This position is based in a dynamic environment, with a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday.
