About the Role

We are seeking an outgoing and experienced individual to join our team as a Bar and Restaurant Waiter/Waitress at Dakota Glasgow. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, providing a memorable dining experience, and working closely with the Bar and Kitchen team to ensure seamless communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide table service, take guest orders, and run large trays of food to guest tables.
  • Work within the Bar, provide table service, take guest orders, and run trays of food and drinks to guest tables.
  • Offer personalized dish and beverage recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of working experience, ideally in a hospitality environment.
  • Previous waiting or coffee shop experience is strongly preferred.
  • Be an outgoing personality with effective communication skills.
  • Willing and able to pour, serve, and sell alcohol.
  • Be physically active in your role, standing for much of your shift and working at pace.
  • An enthusiastic individual who will promote our culture of positivity.
  • Be task-oriented with a great pride for the work you do and attention to detail.
  • Flexible with shift patterns and available around the needs of our business.
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate of up to £14.04 per hour, paid weekly.
  • A temporary contract of a minimum of 18 hours per week, working any 3 days out of 7.
