About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Support Therapist to join our Family Support Team at Naomi House & Jacksplace. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert counselling services, facilitate support groups, and contribute to the multi-disciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised counselling and therapeutic interventions to children, young adults, and their families
  • Facilitate support groups and workshops to promote emotional well-being and coping strategies
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary care team to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Develop and maintain relationships with families and individuals to ensure tailored support
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and strategies
Requirements
  • Recognised degree in Counselling, Psychotherapy, or a related field
  • Membership of BACP or UKCP
  • Significant experience of working with bereavement and palliative care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
