Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our Pharmacy team as a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Pharmacy Services. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing pharmaceutical care to patients and supporting the pharmacy team in a busy hospital environment.
Main Duties
As a Pharmacy Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians with dispensing medication and providing patient care
- Supporting the pharmacy team with administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records
- Developing your skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and education
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong desire to learn and develop your skills and knowledge
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- GCSEs or equivalent (we can provide support with functional skills if needed)
