About the Role:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Oversee accounts, tax, bookkeeping, and VAT for various clients.
  • Support the manager in planning and monitoring team performance.
  • Prepare and submit accounts and tax returns for clients.
  • Communicate with clients through various channels and attend meetings as needed.
  • Onboard new clients and provide tax advice.
  • Review bookkeeping, VAT returns, and CIS requirements.
  • Resolve HMRC queries and maintain records.
  • Attend networking events and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Conduct client fee reviews and assist with ad-hoc duties.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' practice experience.
  • Professional qualification such as AAT, ACCA, or ACA.
  • Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and Xero.
