Job Summary

Civitanavi UK Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the design and technical development of inertial navigation systems for the industrial and aerospace/defense domains.

Main Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer requirements and generate system architecture and formal system requirements
  • Define methods for requirements validation and specify procedures for design verification
  • Support the installation of products into target platforms and coordinate system development, integration, and qualification/certification activities
  • Collaborate with customers on technical aspects and lead the team in the development of inertial navigation systems
Qualification and Skills

We are looking for a candidate with a university degree in Electronics, Opto-Electronics, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics, and relevant experience in avionics, navigation, and related algorithms. Knowledge of communication interfaces and protocols, system safety concepts, and reliability assessment is also required.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and negotiate priorities with other departments. Proficiency in Microsoft Projects and Project Management Terminology is also essential.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of reliability prediction standards and model-based design is preferred but not required.
