About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our Extra Care team in Clitheroe. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to live independently and safely in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication management, and personal care.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Assist residents with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry, to promote independence and dignity.
  • Engage with residents in a variety of activities, including social events, outings, and hobbies, to promote social interaction and well-being.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and compassion.
Requirements
  • A passion for delivering high-quality care and support to vulnerable adults.
  • Previous experience in a care setting, although not essential, is desirable.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including alternate weekends.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, and families.
