About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mall Cleaner to join our team at ABM UK. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of our mall premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and clean floors in all common areas, corridors, and entrances. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors. Dust furniture and fixtures in common areas.
  • Waste Management: Empty waste containers regularly and dispose of trash in designated areas. Ensure proper separation and disposal of recyclable materials.
  • Safety and Hygiene: Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely and in accordance with company guidelines. Follow all health and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Customer Service: Assist mall visitors with directions or information when necessary. Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor with the public.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment (Cloths, mops, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of cleaning products and their safe usage.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Good physical condition: ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Work Environment
  • Requires working early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the mall's operating hours.
  • Indoor and outdoor work, depending on mall layout.
