The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will be based on-site and will involve designing, developing, and maintaining efficient and reliable back-end systems using Python and SQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and SQL, with extensive experience in developing and maintaining robust backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable back-end systems using Python and SQL.
  • API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, WebSocket, and GraphQL services, ensuring comprehensive documentation with Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Database Management: Manage and optimize databases, specifically PostgreSQL, NATS, Redis, and Min.IO.
  • Cloud Services: Leverage Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Functions, Azure KeyVault, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps for cloud-based solutions.
  • Security: Implement robust security protocols using OAuth and KeyCloak.
  • Testing: Conduct thorough testing using SonarQube, Pytest, isort, black, and bandit to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Version Control: Utilize Git for version control, ensuring collaborative and efficient code management.
  • Containerization: Implement containerization and orchestration solutions with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira and Confluence to track progress and share knowledge.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and improve system performance with Prometheus and Grafana.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Backend Developer or similar role.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, extensive experience with frameworks and libraries, demonstrated experience in developing and managing RESTful APIs, solid understanding of database management, hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, expertise in implementing security measures, proficient in testing frameworks and tools, familiarity with version control using Git, experience with containerization and orchestration tools, knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools, excellent collaboration skills, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.
