We are seeking a dedicated individual to become a part of our project development team at Brighton Energy Co-op, focusing on establishing solar photovoltaic (PV) collaborations with property owners. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist our operations and maintenance division in overseeing and troubleshooting system issues.
Key Competencies Required:
1. Effective Communication Skills: A significant portion of our solar PV prospects necessitate extensive discussions via email and phone over several months. We are in search of individuals who can articulate our essential sales messages in a nurturing and progressive manner.
2. Technical Acumen and Problem-Solving Abilities: As projects advance, they frequently present unique challenges. We typically address these challenges collaboratively, and the ability to engage in such discussions—guided by technical and regulatory knowledge—is invaluable. While prior experience in solar PV is not mandatory, demonstrating a thoughtful approach to similar tasks or showcasing relevant experience would be advantageous.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain insights into the technical aspects of developing, installing, and managing solar PV systems while working alongside a dynamic and informal team.
