Job Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Excellence Lead to join our team at Dechra. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring the site's performance meets the highest standards.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organization and contribute to the development of our site's strategic plans. You will work closely with our site director and leadership team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Operational Excellence initiatives to improve site performance
  • Lead the implementation of the Dechra Production System (DPS) standards and coach local management and team members
  • Drive continuous improvement programs using DPS tools and techniques
  • Manage significant business change and ensure effective communication with stakeholders
  • Define and embed KPIs and processes to drive short-term and long-term improvement
  • Ensure a routine, rigorous, and robust reporting process is in place
  • Coach others in the definition and use of KPIs to achieve performance improvement
  • Provide active guidance for performance development of individuals and teams
  • Support the site director and leadership team in defining the site strategy and goals
Requirements
  • Management of OpEx programs within a large organization that drive commercial value
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or PMP preferred certification
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical capabilities
  • Attention to detail and proven communications and planning skills
  • Ability to influence peers and business areas using verbal or written communication
  • Strong stakeholder management at all leadership levels and across functions
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
  • Evidence of driving a continuous improvement culture through a test and learn process
  • Worked in and understanding regulated markets
  • Fluency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other PMO productivity tools
