About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Support the development of individual interests and skills, encouraging independence and self-confidence.
  • Participate in activities and outings that promote a sense of belonging and community.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with vulnerable young people, although not essential.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Willingness to undertake sleep-in duties as part of a rotating shift pattern.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and team spirit.
