SEN Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and caring SEN Teacher to join our team at Sprint Education Recruitment. As an SEN Teacher, you will work with a small class of KS4/5 students with a range of needs, including autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and complex needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated SEN Teacher to make a positive impact in the lives of students with special needs. Our school prides itself on creating a warm and supportive environment for both staff and students.

Responsibilities:
  • Motivate, engage, and support students with a variety of special educational needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
Requirements:
  • Enhanced DBS (we can assist in obtaining this).
  • QTS or QTLS (instructors will also be considered).
  • Safeguarding training (support can be provided).
  • SEN experience or knowledge (desirable but not essential).
Details:
  • Contract: Temp to Perm role
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • Pay rate: £130-£200 per day, depending on experience
