Meallmore is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Daviot Care Home.

Your Role

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and comfortable living space for our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing daily cleaning and sanitization of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities.
  • Handling laundry and ensuring the proper handling of residents' personal items with care and respect.
  • Restocking and maintaining supplies in resident rooms and common areas to ensure a well-stocked environment.
  • Adhering to strict infection control protocols and safety guidelines to protect the health and well-being of our residents.
  • Communicating effectively with residents and staff to understand their needs and address any concerns promptly.
Skills and Requirements

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable individual with:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required. We value your willingness to learn and contribute to our team.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • A patient, understanding, and respectful attitude towards our residents.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with residents and colleagues.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
