About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Crown Prosecutor to join our team at the Crown Prosecution Service. As a Crown Prosecutor, you will play a critical role in delivering justice through the effective prosecution of crime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver justice in complex and challenging cases, including fraud, firearms, public order, and corporate manslaughter
  • Review evidence and charging decisions for cases appearing in the magistrates' and Crown Court
  • Provide legal advice and explain decisions to criminal justice partners and victims of crime
  • Work closely with colleagues to maintain public confidence in our work
Requirements
  • Qualified barristers and solicitors with extensive knowledge of criminal law
  • Sound legal judgement and ability to present cases clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Commitment to public service and focus on continuous learning
  • Understanding of our role within the criminal justice system
