About the RoleWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Crown Prosecutor to join our team at the Crown Prosecution Service. As a Crown Prosecutor, you will play a critical role in delivering justice through the effective prosecution of crime.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver justice in complex and challenging cases, including fraud, firearms, public order, and corporate manslaughter
- Review evidence and charging decisions for cases appearing in the magistrates' and Crown Court
- Provide legal advice and explain decisions to criminal justice partners and victims of crime
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain public confidence in our work
- Qualified barristers and solicitors with extensive knowledge of criminal law
- Sound legal judgement and ability to present cases clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Commitment to public service and focus on continuous learning
- Understanding of our role within the criminal justice system
