Role Overview

The Facilities Property & Asset Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management and enhancement of facilities and asset services within the organization. This position involves overseeing compliance and safety measures for a housing organization, managing a diverse portfolio of residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all facility operations to uphold high standards of service.
  • Coordinate and manage contractors and service agreements.
  • Conduct inspections of completed work and generate detailed reports.
  • Prepare documentation for maintenance contract tenders.
  • Efficiently supervise maintenance and defect resolution activities.
  • Lead the strategy for energy management and ensure compliance with billing procedures.
  • Effectively develop and maintain asset management systems.
  • Collaborate on new project developments and manage handover processes.
  • Administer essential services including security, maintenance, and cleaning.
  • Regularly produce performance and operational reports.
  • Implement effective procurement strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive asset records with accuracy.
  • Conduct inspections and customer feedback surveys as required.
  • Respond swiftly to emergencies and operational issues.

Competencies and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities or asset management within the residential real estate sector.
  • A degree in Construction, Project Management, or Facilities Management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with current and forthcoming Building Safety regulations.
  • Exceptional organizational and management skills.
  • A proven history of delivering high-quality services in the housing sector.
