Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team as a Project Coordinator. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical installations on large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical installations on large-scale projects.
  • Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to determine material, labor, and time requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project objectives and are comprehensive.
  • Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing, ensuring estimates reflect current market conditions.
  • Present estimates to senior management and clients, providing clear and concise explanations for costings.
  • Update and refine estimates as project details evolve, maintaining accuracy and transparency throughout the process.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the estimating process, identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, with a strong background in large-scale projects, particularly in the retail, education, or industrial sectors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex specifications and drawings.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with the skill to build strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and competitive estimates.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
