Reporting to the Finance Supply Chain Manager, you will assist the Management Accountants in delivering financial insights across the manufacturing and supply chain sectors of the Hunter Douglas group. Your responsibilities will include month-end activities, regular reporting, and performance analysis across various business channels.

Key skills for this position include strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will be involved in preparing month-end reports with variance analysis to identify drivers of variance, providing timely updates to senior stakeholders in operations. A self-motivated, highly organized, and solution-oriented mindset is essential, as you will seek opportunities to enhance processes and create efficiencies within your area.

This position is perfect for recent graduates or those AAT-qualified who are eager to embark on their Accountancy career.

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Financial Accountant:
  • Analyze and report on manufacturing and operational performance across all business channels.
  • Assist in management accounting and business partnering functions.
  • Conduct variance analysis reporting.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting for operational areas.
  • Assist with audit, statutory reporting, or due diligence requirements as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX by maintaining updated and documented SOPs.
  • Engage in ad-hoc project work as required.
