Assistant Management Accountant / Accounts Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant / Accounts Assistant to join our team at Get Recruited Ltd. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for assisting with the Month End Cycle, supporting the preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts, and performing various finance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Finance Manager with day-to-day finance tasks, including Month End and Year End processes.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and prepare VAT returns.
  • Oversee the Purchase Ledger and input invoices as required.
  • Prepare supplier payment runs, post bank transactions, and send remittances.
  • Generate accurate Credit Control Reports.
  • Support the Management Accountant and other finance team members with queries and information.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting in Excel.

Requirements:

  • Experience in an Assistant Management Accountant role or similar.
  • Good understanding of the Purchase Order process.
  • Highly computer literate with accounting software (Sage or similar) and MS Excel.
  • AAT or above is an advantage.
