Parkland Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Estate Ranger at Dinton Pastures Country Park. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining over 30 countryside sites throughout Wokingham borough, including Country Parks, Nature Reserves, SANGS, and 143 miles of Public Rights of Way.

• Assist with the maintenance of park visitor facilities, including general upkeep, mowing, strimming, and fencing.
• Conduct reactive tree work, health & safety inspections, and support the delivery of technical wildlife conservation projects.
• Work with volunteers and the public, promoting a positive and inclusive experience for all.
• Support the development of outdoor recreation opportunities, ensuring the park remains a vibrant and engaging destination for visitors.

To be successful in this role, you will need a keen interest in land management and a passion for working outdoors. A full driving license and previous practical outdoor experience are essential. Chainsaw, brushcutter, tractor, and trailer driving experience would be desirable, and training will be offered to the successful candidate.
