Job Summary:
Menzies Distribution is seeking an experienced HGV/LGV Class 1 Driver to join our team in a key role that requires a high level of skill and expertise in transportation logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake the delivery and collection of products on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customers.
- Operate a range of vehicles, including HGV Class 1 trucks, to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Use electronic Proof of Delivery (POD) systems and other technology to manage deliveries and collections.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods, and ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
Requirements:
- A full UK C+E licence.
- 12 months previous Class 1 driving experience.
- Excellent driving skills and a good understanding of drivers' hours and WTD regulations.
- No more than 6 points on your driving licence and no previous disqualifications.
