Job Title: Plumbing and Heating Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team at ck4 limited. As a key member of our Mechanical department, you will be responsible for providing support to our teams, undertaking installation works, attending callouts and reactive maintenance jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out fault finding, remedial repairs, undertaking maintenance and refurbishment works.
  • Plumbing and heating installations in line with current regulations and legislations.
  • Domestic gas installations in line with current regulations and legislations.
  • Processing relevant documentation ensuring installations are completed in a timely manner.
  • Inspection and testing within new and existing installations, recording results with the completion of appropriate test certificates.
  • Attend training as and when required to continue your development in the role and comply with changes within the mechanical industry.
  • Utilise both electronic and paper-based systems to accurately record electrical documentation including the use of labour and materials against each job.
  • Mentor apprentices as and when required.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in plumbing and heating.

Working Hours:

  • 8am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Benefits:

  • 20 days per year plus Bank Holidays.
  • Long service days accrue after five years to a maximum of 5 additional days.

Location:

  • Multiple sites generally in Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.

Reports to:

  • Mechanical Contracts Manager.
