Field Service Engineer

Location: Glastonbury, Somerset (accepting applications from South Western areas)

Salary: £33,000-£35,000 base salary (OTE £46,000+)

Hours: Monday-Friday 08.00 + Door to Door Paid + Overtime @ 1.5x

The client: Interaction have partnered with a rapidly expanding, rewarding and innovative organisation based in the Somerset area to support the growth of their engineering team. Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a skilled electromechanical engineer interested in learning, developing and progressing within the industrial cleaning machinery sector.

1. To attend breakdowns, service, and installations on an array of industrial cleaning equipment, operating in a 1 hour radius of your area.
2. The use of manual hand tools (Spanners, Screwdrivers), electrical hand tools (powered drills, grinders), lifting equipment (lifting slangs, hoists etc), Hot working tools (Blowtorch, heat guns).
3. To carry out electrical, electronic, mechanical fault finding and repairs on industrial cleaning equipment, IG Engines (Petrol, Diesel, LPG).

1. Electrical, Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience would be advantageous.
2. A good level of electrical or mechanical knowledge, similar roles could include plant engineer, maintenance engineer, hydraulic engineer, pneumatic engineer, mechanical fitter.
3. Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering - not essential but would be an advantage.
4. Experience using electrical & mechanical tools.
5. Previous experience as a mechanical, electrical or field-based engineer. Any experience surrounding Industrial Batteries, IC Engines or Industrial floor cleaning would be advantageous.
