Exciting Opportunity in Dental Education
A rewarding position has emerged within the Dental Division of Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust for a full-time Senior Dental Nurse Educator (AFC Band 7) to become a vital member of the School of Dental Nursing Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the effective delivery of dental nurse education, including the Continual Professional Development (CPD) of both staff and students involved in training programs, both pre and post registration.
- Manage and develop all personnel and students within the School of Dental Nursing to ensure the seamless operation and educational delivery.
- Act as the Lead Internal Quality Assessor (IQA), ensuring high standards of education and training.
We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates innovation, adaptability, and strong leadership capabilities.
Collaboration and Support:
The post holder will report to the Dental Matron and work closely with their line manager, the Divisional Director of Nursing & Therapies, Dental Nurse Tutors, the Dental Nurse Management Team, the Learning and Development Team, as well as a diverse group of clinical staff and students.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Dental Nurse with a recognized teaching and management qualification. Evidence of CPD is essential as part of the application process.
