Derygate Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Site Coordinator to join our reputable team. We specialize in providing comprehensive Electrical and Mechanical design, installation, and maintenance services across various sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, retail, and leisure.
As part of the Projects Team, you will oversee and manage awarded projects.
Projects may encompass a range of tasks including M&E installations, construction works, and related civil engineering activities, as well as gas, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- As an Electrical and Mechanical Site Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that all work meets the specified quality standards through regular inspections with subcontractors.
- Managing site operations and safety in line with the Health & Safety Plan.
- Supervising the workforce, including subcontractors, suppliers, specialists, and site visitors.
- Conducting site inductions in accordance with the Health & Safety Plan.
- Monitoring the progress of work for each subcontractor in line with the project schedule.
- Additionally, you will:
- Ensure timely issuance of material requisitions to meet project timelines.
- Control and monitor all equipment and materials on a weekly basis.
- Oversee the quality of work performed by all operatives and address any necessary corrections.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the construction sector as an Electrical and Mechanical Site Coordinator, Site Manager, or similar roles.
- Ability to complete full security vetting including DBS & BPSS checks (conducted by the company).
