Precise Recruitment Services Limited is seeking a skilled CNC Setter and Operator to join our team. As a CNC Setter and Operator, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to our Caliper, Technical Turning, and Disc areas.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out first-off inspections from engineering drawings to ensure quality standards are met.
- Set tools and produce first-off parts to correct quality standards.
- Run proven programs, adjust work and/or tool coordinates, and correct any errors.
- Ensure cell output is made to agreed schedules and quality specifications are met.
- Apply machine maintenance as per schedules.
- Liaise and cooperate with all areas when required.
- Maintain 5S standards in the cell and other areas.
Overtime and Flexibility
Work overtime when required, including weekend working, to meet business needs.
Key Competencies
- Ability to set and operate CNC machinery to produce parts and inspect to required standards.
- Strong background knowledge of milling, turning, setting, and operating.
- Competence in operating FANUC controls.
- Flexible and positive approach with a can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- IT literacy.
