About the Role

We are seeking an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our team at British Veterinary Association. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing expert veterinary care to patients, including routine and non-routine consultations and surgeries
  • Working closely with our team to ensure excellent customer service and pet health care
  • Participating in career development and growth opportunities to achieve career aspirations
  • Contributing to the development of our practice and team

Our Team

We have a small, hardworking team dedicated to excellent customer service and pet health care. Our team consists of a practice owner and head vet, full-time and part-time vets, a practice manager, head nurse, registered veterinary nurses, veterinary care assistants, and receptionists. We also have an amazing team of locum vets and nurses who work regular days with us.

Our Practice

Our modern practice includes a well-equipped operating theatre, multiple consult rooms, digital x-ray, isolation unit, separate dog/cat wards, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, Laser therapy, and skin lump scanner. We are committed to providing a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and clients.

Work-Life Balance

We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer flexible working arrangements, including no OOH and flexible days off and start and finish times. We also have a weekend rota that is built around 1 in 3 Saturdays (8am - 6pm), but we are happy to discuss this further.
