Electrical Installation Trainer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Trainer to join our team at FIND | Creating Futures. As an Electrical Installation Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and education to engineering apprentices, aligned with the latest apprenticeship trailblazer standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop training courses, programs, and curriculum for electrical installation training.
  • Deliver technical training in electrical installation subjects, both face-to-face and online, to small groups of learners.
  • Manage all physical learning resources and teaching spaces to ensure effective training and assessment within guided learning hours.
  • Ensure the progress of all learners and support them in achieving their goals.
  • Convey technical information in a clear and accessible manner and engage with various stakeholders through presentations and updates.

Requirements:

  • A strong engineering background with a minimum of 5 years industry experience, ideally within an electrical installation capacity.
  • A confident speaker who is not phased by standing in front of a classroom or delivering presentations.
  • Be customer and quality-focused, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, managing tight deadlines effectively.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to promoting the safety and wellbeing of learners.
