About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salaried GP to join our team at Orchid House Surgery, a friendly and dynamic C9000 patient practice in Ferndown, Dorset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake face-to-face, telephone, and video consultations with patients
  • Check and authorise repeat prescriptions
  • Participate in the duty GP rota
  • Deal with queries, filing, and following up of results
  • Undertake administrative tasks, including paperwork
Person Specification
  • Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Awareness of local and national health policy
  • Proficient in PC skills, ideally with experience of SystmOne
  • Highly motivated and flexible
  • Ability to work well within a Practice team
  • Qualified GP with MRCGP and Full GMC Registration
  • National Performers List Registration and DBS Checked
