Community Support Worker

We are seeking passionate and compassionate individuals to join our team as Community Support Workers. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering service users to lead fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe environment through the utilisation of support plans and person-centred risk assessments.
  • Support service users with daily routines, including social activities, dressing, meal preparation, and general upkeep of their living space.
  • Encourage and motivate service users to engage with the local community and participate in activities that positively impact their lives.
  • Support the physical and emotional wellbeing of service users, including attending medical appointments, managing medication, implementing behaviour management strategies, and maintaining positive relationships with family and friends.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a Health and Social Care setting in the UK.
  • Knowledge and understanding of supporting service users with complex care needs.
  • An up-to-date DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service (assistance available for new DBS applications).
  • An up-to-date CV with all employment accurately recorded since leaving full-time education.
  • Commitment to assignments to ensure continuity of care for service users.
