We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Fellow in Gynaecology to join our team at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a high level of clinical expertise in Gynaecology, with a focus on patient care and safety.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Trust and national guidelines.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans for patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Conduct research and audit activities to improve patient outcomes and contribute to the development of new clinical practices.
- Hold or have held a National Training Number in Gynaecology.
- MB BS (or equivalent) and MRCOG (or equivalent) qualifications.
- GMC registration and evidence of a commitment to research.
- Experience in General Surgical and Gynaecology, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in Gynaecology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to audit and critically appraise clinical care delivery by a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience at Specialty Registrar level.
- Surgical On-call experience.
- Ability to teach and mentor junior staff.
- Good organisational ability and a willingness to be flexible in accordance with the demands of team working.
- Computer literacy and experience of working in a clinical team.
