About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Astute People. As a key member of our Project Development team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of wind, solar, and hybrid energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support project development from initial site search and feasibility assessments through to construction, including site survey activities and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Development Project Team to ensure effective communication, engagement, and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and review project drawings using AutoCAD and GIS software, and assist with the preparation of planning applications and Environmental Statements.
  • Represent the company at conferences and seminars, contributing to the generation of innovative solutions to project challenges.
Requirements
  • Academic degree in planning, environmental, or engineering disciplines.
  • Knowledge of planning policy and environmental impact regulations.
  • Experience with site assessment, planning application/consent processes.
  • Able to travel frequently throughout Scotland with a full driving license and access to a vehicle.
