Executive Chef Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh and innovative food services to independent schools and colleges.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-volume, quality-focused environments and will be responsible for developing well-balanced and nutritious menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements and preferences.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our back-of-house team to ensure seamless operations, maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, and identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and improvement in menu offerings, service delivery, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the back-of-house team to develop menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements and preferences.
- Prepare and manage the catering budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining quality standards.
- Establish strong relationships with school Bursars, Head Teachers, and faculty.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate catering staff.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and quality control protocols.
- Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and improvement in menu offerings, service delivery, and operational efficiency.
- Proven experience as a Chef Manager in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.
- Ability to manage, train, and support a team.
- Financially astute, with strong analytical and budgeting skills.
- Excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.
- Meticulous organizational abilities and a high attention to detail.
- Empathetic, clear, and highly effective verbal and written communication.
- Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective.
