Transport Planning Graduate Opportunity

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Transport Planner to join their development planning team in Leeds. As a Graduate Transport Planner, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects for high-profile clients, including development planning projects of all types, from gallery extensions to garden villages, new ports, and sporting complexes.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements
  2. Assist with data collection and analysis to inform transport planning decisions
  3. Conduct accessibility reviews and estimate trip generation for development proposals
  4. Use industry software to model junctions and assess the impact of traffic changes on capacity
  5. Prepare reports, including access appraisals, travel plans, transport assessments, and transport for environmental statements
  6. Work directly with clients, architects, planners, and highway authorities
  7. Participate in business development activities, such as LinkedIn and networking events

Requirements
