Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Field Engineer to join our team at Statkraft. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on our electrical systems across our Wind, BESS and Grid Services assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • HV SAP Training and Development: Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in HV SAP.
  • Alarm Investigation and Fault Response: Investigate alarms and respond to faults in a timely and effective manner.
  • Project Support: Provide support to project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Maintenance Task Execution: Execute planned and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Onsite Supervision: Supervise engineering work onsite to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Technical Requirements Assessment: Assess technical requirements for ongoing projects to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: Relevant experience from within the energy sector, with demonstrable experience of working on electrical networks, ideally dealing with LV and HV plant maintenance.
  • Skills: Good understanding of O&M works processes, high standard of HSE awareness, and knowledge of power generation, HV networks, electrical testing/analysis, and commissioning.
  • Language: Fluent in English.
