About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Carepath Recruitment Ltd. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care and support to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual's needs.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support individuals with their goals and aspirations, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in care or a related field is preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard in a positive behavioural support setting.
  • Maturity to work within a positive behaviour support framework and accept responsibility.
  • Flexibility to cover a mixture of days, night, sleep-in shifts, and waking watches.
