Position Overview

We are currently seeking additional HGV 1 Drivers to support a prominent national transport organization. Opportunities are available for both daytime and nighttime shifts.

Day Shift Responsibilities:

  • Working days: Monday to Friday
  • Start times: (Apply online only)
  • Delivery: 1-6 drops
  • Shift duration: 10-12 hours
  • Type of delivery: Curtain-sided palletized
  • Compensation: £17.00 per hour

Night Shift Responsibilities:

  • Working nights: Monday to Friday
  • Start times: (Apply online only)
  • Trunking to three locations weekly: Runcorn, Yorkshire, and Northampton
  • Shift duration: 10-13 hours
  • Compensation: £18.00 per hour

Alternatively:

  • Working schedule: Sunday to Thursday
  • Start times: (Apply online only)
  • Trunking to Hemel Hempstead
  • Vehicle type: Wagon and Drag
  • Shift duration: 8-12 hours
  • Compensation: £18.00 per hour

Candidate Requirements:

  • Valid UK Cat C+E Drivers License
  • Valid UK Driver and DQC Cards
  • No more than 6 endorsement points - No DD, DR, or CD endorsements
  • Availability for ongoing work
  • Familiarity with the Working Time Directive and Highway Code
  • Thorough vehicle inspections and reporting of any defects
