The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will lead the development and optimization of business intelligence solutions to empower operational teams across the organization in achieving their strategic objectives. The role involves the design, development, and maintenance of advanced business intelligence dashboards and reports, providing critical insights into sales and service performance. This position demands a strong expertise in business intelligence development, particularly in data modeling and data visualization, along with a commitment to ongoing learning and skill enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced business intelligence dashboards and reports, utilizing skills in data modeling and data visualization to create dynamic data visualizations.
- Optimize and enhance business intelligence solutions to meet changing business requirements and deliver impactful insights.
- Collaborate with operational teams to understand their data analysis needs and customize business intelligence solutions for actionable insights.
- Communicate complex data findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner.
- Champion continuous improvement in the business intelligence delivery process, using business intelligence skills to streamline reporting and increase efficiency.
- Provide technical mentorship to team members, fostering growth in business intelligence competencies.
- Oversee key performance indicator (KPI) governance, ensuring accuracy and relevance in KPI metrics through technical expertise.
- Manage the day-to-day allocation of business-as-usual (BAU) work, prioritizing tasks effectively using a deep understanding of business intelligence development.
Requirements:
- Strong team player with the ability to build relationships across senior stakeholders and communicate honestly.
- Experience in delivering business intelligence through data visualization tools (preferably Power BI) within operational teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Working towards or holding a business intelligence professional accreditation.
- Proficient or working towards proficiency in technical disciplines such as data modeling, data visualization, and data analysis.
