Job Title: Head of Business and Operations

We are seeking an experienced Head of Business and Operations to lead our EMEA operations, driving business performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the EMEA operations team, ensuring the portfolio of products and workflows are set up and maintained to maximize performance.
  • Be the single point of contact for Global Operations and other parts of BBC Studios, liaising on operational delivering organizational solutions aspects to operational challenges.
  • Work closely with regions and business owners to understand their requirements, driving maximum performance on existing products and workflows.
  • Identify gaps across the organization and communicate these areas to business owners and Global Ops teams to prioritize and plan for process improvements and/or broader wholesale solutions.
  • Manage operations and technology needs, representing EMEA into the rest of the BBCS business.
  • Work with Operations & Technology key stakeholders to understand their deliverables, roadmaps, and priorities impacting EMEA business from an operations & performance basis.
  • Represent EMEA branded services on project steering groups, giving informed direction on decisions with impacts.
  • Accountable for holistically managing the program of new business work across EMEA, ensuring clarity and transparency of latest commercial plans/opportunities across EMEA for operational teams.
  • Work closely with Project Management teams to ensure projects are scoped clearly for business needs and progress in a timely manner.
  • Constantly seek improvements and make recommendations to the business for optimizing product and process performance.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in media, broadcast / digital technology, and content operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, working to specific deadlines.
