About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at First Bus Engineering. As a key member of our mechanical and electrical team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues, ensuring our fleet is safe and reliable for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle faults, including electrical and mechanical issues
  • Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance
  • Conduct vehicle road testing to identify defects or issues
  • Work with our team to develop and implement solutions to improve vehicle performance and efficiency
Requirements
  • Minimum level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Full Cat B license and experience with vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including engines, gearboxes, and braking systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
