Menzies Distribution is seeking experienced HGV drivers with a C+E licence to join their team.

About the Role

This role involves operating as a day driver on a 48-hour shift pattern, working four days on and four days off. You will be responsible for transporting goods across the UK, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle in accordance with all relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Transport goods securely and efficiently to designated locations.
  • Utilize electronic PODs and modern technology for accurate documentation and communication.
  • Assist with loading and unloading tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid UK C+E driving licence.
  • Possess at least 12 months of experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
  • Demonstrate excellent driving skills and a commitment to safety.
  • Have less than 6 points on your driving licence and no recent disqualifications.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of drivers' hours and regulations.
