Role Overview
Rodericks Dental Partners is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Practice Cleaner to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and clean environment for our dentists and staff to conduct treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain designated areas to the highest standards
- Work to the cleaning standards of a dental practice, adhering to Health & Safety, COSHH, and relevant regulations
- Maintain accurate cleaning records, including daily, weekly, monthly, six-monthly, and annual records
- Understand and implement National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2007 and 2021, and the National Colour Coding Scheme
- Work to Infection Control measures and care for cleaning equipment
- Understand and assure Personal Protective Equipment and use electrical equipment safely
- Responsible for lone worker policy and risk assessment, and waste management (excluding hazardous or sharp waste)
- Understand confidentiality and carry out reasonable management requests
Key Skills and Experience
- Previous cleaning experience in a similar role
- Understanding of COSHH regulations is desirable
- High attention to detail, reliability, and excellent timekeeping
- Ability to work independently and achieve client vetting clearance for the role
