Join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician specializing in Combustion. This role offers a competitive starting salary of £36,000, which may vary based on experience, along with an on-call allowance.

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 37.5 hours of work per week, with a standard working schedule from 8am to 4:30pm.

The position is mobile, covering the West Yorkshire, Bradford, and Halifax regions.

Key Requirements:

Qualifications - Candidates must possess at least one of the following:
  • BTEC City & Guilds with relevant experience and training.
  • Registered Gas Safe Engineer with ACS qualifications in Domestic and Commercial Gas Installations.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Formal apprenticeship or craft-trained equivalent.
Additional Requirements:
  • A valid driving license is essential.
  • Comfortable using technology to log maintenance tasks.
  • Availability for on-call duties.
  • Industry experience is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other technical teams.
Please note that DBS Checks & DVLA checks will be necessary for this position.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Wellbeing Policies, NHSPS Technical Guidance, and applicable statutory regulations.
  • Implement new or revised practices and policies within your work area.
  • Deliver scheduled, reactive, and remedial maintenance services as directed by the PPM planner, helpdesk, or Technical Services Supervisor, ensuring operational standards are consistently upheld.
  • Responsibilities may include fault diagnosis, minor repairs, installations, and maintaining services and equipment in critical environments.
  • Willingness to undertake tasks in disciplines outside of your primary expertise.
  • Assess and resolve complex technical issues, effectively communicating technical information to various stakeholders.
